Assistant Sales Manager

 

Key Accountability

 

  • Manage daily activities of sales team to meet sales objectives e.g customer orders are processed in a timely manner
  • Managing the AR collection for account assigned and Sales Team member(s) collection.
  • Coordinate with Sales Team to develop and implements Parts Sales Plan e.g Partnership with OEM to win the price war.
  • Identify new business opportunities to improve sales
  • Marketing, promoting and developing Parts Sales
  • Submitting Internal report to Regional Manager and sales status update
  • Manage and resolve the problem from the team and customer(s)
  • Manage the sales documents such as material requisitions, leave applications, internal claims, etc. within Sales team with allocated limit
  • Perform price and contract negotiation with Vendors as needed
  • Address customer(s) concerns according our company guideline in Parts Sales

 

The People

 

  • Candidate must possesss at least Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing / Engineering or equivalent
  • 4 - 5 years experience in sourcing and purchasing on all aspects of commodity such as raw materials, metal commodities, heavy and high technology machineries
  • Managing and developing the Ocean Freight Import & Export operational activities in the area in accordance with the group business strategy and local business environment
  • ≥ 5 years of Parts sourcing and sales for terminal solutions.
  • Able to converse in English/Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin 
  • Self motivated, Sales oriented with good negotiation / communication skills
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Computer literate
  • Preference given to those familiar with knowledge of SAP/ERP system
  • Posses own transport and willing to travel
